This Privacy Policy explains how TurfTime collects, uses, and protects information when you use our software for lawn care businesses. We've tried to write it in plain language.

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email, business name, and login credentials when you sign up.

Business data you enter: information about your customers, properties, jobs, schedules, invoices, and payments. This may include your customers' names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses that you choose to store.

Payment information: when you subscribe, or when your customers pay you online, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our servers.

Usage information: basic technical data such as log records and device/browser information, used to keep the Service running and secure.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • Process subscriptions and enable payments;
  • Send account, transactional, and support emails;
  • Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' information.

3. Your customers' data

When you store information about your own customers in TurfTime, you control that data and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for handling it lawfully, including providing any notices or obtaining any consents your local laws require.

4. Service providers we share with

We share information only with providers that help us run TurfTime, under agreements that protect the data. Key providers include:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting;
  • Vercel — application hosting;
  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Resend — sending email.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you cancel, we may retain data for a reasonable period for backups, legal, and operational reasons, then delete it. You can request deletion by contacting us.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can access and update your account information in the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email us at support@turftime.org.

8. Children

TurfTime is a business tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you and update the date above.
